Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy - First Day Reports

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a Telugu historic, action film directed by Surender Reddy, starring a big cast of Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Kichcha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu, Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Shetty in major roles.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a movie that is based on a real life character Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, he is said to be the one who started the Independence war against the Britishers during the beginning of 19th century. This was a dream project of Megastar Chiranjeevi and it is evident by the dedication he put towards the character. His screen presence and that aura made the character Narasimha Reddy even more powerful. The movie will remain as one of the best Chiranjeevi movie. The movie had a Big starcast. Some of them like Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Shetty were more of an extended cameo. But their part was necessary for the movie, especially the role of Amitabh Bachchan as the Guru of Narasimha Reddy. Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu and others who acted as the supporters of Narsimha Reddy and the Britishers, did a fabulous job.

Nayanthara’s presence made the movie even more beautiful. Tamannaah’s role was crucial for the film, and she did her portions perfectly, especially those dance portions was extraordinary. 

The fight scenes in the palace and the last war was visually amazing, It was that perfect. The technical departments such as Cinematography, VFX, and other supporting areas were perfect. The Songs, BGMs and the screenplay were let down and the Editing was an Okay kind one. 

On the downside, some scenes felt irrelevant, the climax was pathetic and lacked the originality, the screenplay could have been improved. The movie duration is extended due to few unwanted scenes.

Don’t miss the movie in cinemas, this has lot of patriotic moments and show us the the struggle by many people behind the Indian Independence and how much it costed. Another movie from Tollywood after Baahubali movies which is visually beautiful with many stunning scenes.
