Jaanu Review - First Day Reports

Jaanu is a 2020 Telugu Romantic movie written and directed by C. Prem Kumar, starring Sharwanand, Samanth, Sai Kiran and Gouri Kishan in lead roles. The movie is an official remake of the Tamil blockbuster movie ’96.

Jaanu talks about the story of Ram and Jaanu, about their nostalgic memories of their childhood love and their meeting on a reunion. Usually the original stands out unique when it comes to comparison with the remakes. Everyone was eager to watch the recreation of the character Ram and Jaanu played by Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha in 96. In Jaanu the character Ram and Jaanu is played by Sharwanand and Samantha.

Sharwanand was so natural and amazingly performed the character Ram. He surprised everyone with his flawless performance. Samantha again stunned us with her as usual amazing performance. It was so beautiful to see her doing the character Jaanu. If we do a comparison, Sharwanand and Samantha equally performed as Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha. Gouri and Sai beautifully did the young Jaanu and Ram.

Rest all technical departments were similar to the original movie. Music by Govind Vasantha and the cinematography by Mahendiran Jayaraju remained as the strength of Jaanu, and of course, the story is the king.

Even if you have watched ’96, Jaanu will impress you.
