Mohan Kumar Fans is a 2021 Malayalam family drama movie, written and directed by Jis Joy, starring Kunchacko Boban, Siddique and Anarkali Nazar in lead roles.

Mohan Kumar Fans also fall under the genre – feel-good entertainer by Jis Joy. Like his previous movies Sunday Holiday and Vijay Superum Pournamiyum, Mohan Kumar Fans is packed with many moments to enjoy and filled with happiness. When an old ace actor comes back to cinema after 30 years, the movie industry has changed differently than before. Even though his comeback movie was well-praised for his performance, he was disappointed with the movie’s performance in cinemas, as they prefer movies with stardom than the content. The rest of the film shows how Mohan Kumar and his group of friends try to attain fame for this movie and get back his lost 30 years.

Siddique as Mohan Kumar was excellent, always been a fan of his acting and modulations. He carried Mohan Kumar with ease. Kunchacko Boban fabulously played the character Krishnan Unni. A singer who always spread positivity around him. After a long list of thriller and serious characters, it is good to see him in a joyful character like Krishnan Unni. Anarkali Nazar was good in her debut character. Rest all the casts like Vinay Fort, Ramesh Pisharody, Mukesh, Sreenivasan, and others were apt and marvellous.

The big positive of Mohan Kumar Fans is the direction and the songs. Jis Joy well made the movie with such an amazing star casts. His movies are famous for amazing songs. The songs by Prince George was amazing. A special thanks for those cover songs during the reality show audition. The movie excelled in all other departments, such as cinematography and background score.

The movie could have written better. The movie’s plot was just ordinary. There weren’t any wow moments like in previous films. Also, it would be better if the director was more focused on developing the story plot. Mohan Kumar Fans have many messages that conveyed not well. Other than the okayish screenplay and story, Mohan Kumar Fans is an enjoyable movie.
