Tenet is a 2020 Hollywood Action, Science-Fiction Thriller, written and directed by Christopher Nolan.
As a most awaited movie in 2020 by all the movie lovers, especially Nolan fans, the film had all the hypes. The movie was supposed to release early this year but got delayed due to the COVID-19. The team was very confident to release Tenet only in cinemas. Finally, the movie got released in most of the locations recently.
Tenet is another science fiction movie from Christopher Nolan, in which the presentation is in a way similar to his previous movies like Interstellar and Inception. Tenet is a film entirely depends on scientific theories. With time travel as the core plot, Nolan portrays the concept that helps the future generation to communicate with the past. When the future community tries to destroy the past world using a person called Sator as their medium, a group of Agents known as Tenet tries to protect the past world from destruction. The Sator being a key to the destruction, the world will also collapse once he dies. Being affected by pancreas cancer, the world is under threat due to him. The Tenet headed by Mr Protagonist finally plans to get the algorithms to stop this threat.
Tenet is a visual feast, which has all the brilliance and quality you can expect from a Christopher Nolan film. But for a layman, the concept behind the movie is very had to understand. The incidents or situations in Tenet is complicating, which sometimes need multiple watches to catch up the things. Christopher Nolan movies are famous for its scientific base, which requires repeat watch to understand. Same as Interstellar and Inception, Tenet also makes us look for a movie explanation article or video after completing the movie. All the departments such as Music, Cinematography, Editing etc. did their part well. John David Washington as Protagonist, Robert Pattinson as Neil, Elizabeth as Kat and Kenneth as Sator was excellent casting.
Tenet has some marvellous action scenes with reverse action sequences. The movie is made grand by Christopher Nolan. His way of film making is extraordinary and different as usual. We have seen many time travel movies before. The incorporation of reverse actions with time travel makes Tenet different from all the other films, and that makes Christopher Nolan movies grand, unique and masterpiece.
Tenet is a big-screen experience you shouldn’t miss. Even if it’s hard for you to understand the film, for the visual experience it offers, you should watch the movie on a big screen if possible.
